ABOUT THE PROJECTS

PASSION MEETS PURPOSE

At the age of four, I was given a hand-me-down computer that had Windows 98 on it. My first instinct drew me towards this little paint-can icon and the rest of my digital art journey is history.

In high school, I became the go-to person for all of my school’s creative needs, from designing posters and logos to writing copy for banners and handouts. I enjoyed coming up with themes, writing catchy slogans, and acting as the school’s (un)official creative director.

Through my love of helping others, my experience extends beyond my job experience and career track. I pour my ideas into my family, helping out to create anything that I feel can add a personal touch. Below, you'll see a mix of those family projects, contracted work, stuff for friends, and a personal project or two.

01. Macy's Only Scar Comes From a Racoon Bite - Short Film

Made for my cousin Macy for her high school graduation party. Showcases use of timing, emotional understanding, editing as a tool.

02. E Magazine - Therapy Tool

Personal project: My therapist asked me to create a visual guide of my strengths and values. Showcases personal style, understanding trends, art direction.

03. 2022 X-Mas List Magazine

The Land Rover Defender on the list is totally a joke. Project showcases personal style, current cultural competency / understanding.

04. Banner NICU Charity Event - Poster

Just one of the physical posters created for the non-profit charity event benefiting Banner Desert's NICU fund for at-need parents & children. Showcases non-profit work, tone, design.

05. Shoppers Recount Their First Purchase at Barney's - Short Film

An experimental short film dissecting the racial and social inequalities found in the luxury shopping space. Showcases editing, direction, concept, social activism, and current popular culture.

06. The End of Heteronormativity - Short Film

A video art piece meant to be exhibited as a two-channel piece. Using exclusively heteronormative performances, the work re-frames these iconic works as if made by and for the LGBTQIA.
